Article 1 (Purpose) 

GHR Connection (GHR-CONNECTION™) is an exceptional membership service for holders of the Global HR Professional (GHR-Professional™) certification. It provides opportunities for continuous learning and networking in the global HR field, supporting members’ skill development and expanding their connections with HR professionals worldwide. Additionally, GHR Connection accepts general members to enhance global HR professional networks further. 

Article 2 (Membership and Fees) 

 
- Regular Members: Holders of the GHR-Professional™ certification. 
- General Members: SHRM Essentials certificate holders and individuals interested in global HR who meet the membership requirements. 
- First-Year Membership Fee: The first year is free for regular members who have obtained the GHR-Professional™ certification. 
- Annual Membership Fees: 
  - Regular Members: 12,000 yen (tax included) 
  - General Members: 26,000 yen (tax included) 
  - Membership renewal requires payment of the annual fee. 
  - No Cancellation or Refunds: Mid-term cancellations and refunds are not permitted. 
  - A renewal reminder will be emailed approximately 60 days before expiration. Payment must be completed within 30 days. 
 

Article 3 (Membership Start Date and Validity Period) 

 

Membership Start Date:  

Regular member:  Membership becomes effective from the 1st of the month following passing the examination. 

General member: Membership becomes effective from the 1st of the month following the completion of the annual membership fee payment. 
 
Membership Validity: The membership is valid 12 months from the start date. 

Article 4 (Membership Benefits) 

 
- Regular Study Sessions: Members must attend at least one study session annually. Sessions are held in both Japanese and English. 
Discounted Participation in Global HR Conference: Members receive a discounted rate for attending the Global HR Conference. 
VIP Access: Members have access to VIP rooms, where they can network with global HR professionals. 
- Discounted Participation in Networking Events: Members can attend various professional networking events at a discounted rate. 
 

Article 5 (Qualification Validity and Renewal) 

 
Qualification Validity: The GHR-Professional™ certification is valid for one year from the exam date. 
 
Renewal Conditions: 
  1. Participation in at least one continuing education program or study session HRAI provides annually. 
  2. Maintenance of GHR Connection membership by paying the annual membership fee. 
  3. Certificates will be issued electronically, with the updated expiration date noted. 
 

Article 6 (Study Session Topics) 

GHR Connection study sessions will cover topics such as: 
- Latest Global HR Trends 
- Talent Development and Leadership 
- Global Recruitment and Talent Management 
- Compensation and Benefits Optimization 
- Performance Management and Evaluation Systems 
- HR Technology Implementation and Utilization 
- Global HR Legal Compliance 
- Other timely topics based on member requests 

Article 7 (Study Session Format and Participation Requirements) 

Study sessions will be held online via the Zoom platform, offering interactive sessions with Q&A. 
Participation Requirements: 
- Regular Members: Holders of the GHR-Professional™ certification 
- General Members: SHRM Essentials certificate holders or those who meet the general membership requirements 
- Members must have paid their annual membership fees. 

Article 8 (Events and Opportunities for Presentation) 

Networking and Interaction: Members can participate in the annual Global HR Conference and on-site networking events. 
Opportunities for Presentations: Members may present their ideas and projects at events such as the Global HR Conference and GHR Connection study sessions.

Article 10 (Respect for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Professional Conduct, and Prohibited Activities) 
GHR Connection ensures that all members can participate in an environment that promotes fairness and is free from discrimination while fostering respect for diversity and inclusion among its members. Discrimination based on gender, age, race, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other grounds will not be tolerated. Additionally, members are prohibited from engaging in harassment, offensive behavior, or inappropriate conduct. 

Members are expected to acknowledge and respect differences in opinions and perspectives, engaging in constructive dialogue to enhance mutual understanding. All members must act with respect toward each other, showing sensitivity to diverse values and backgrounds. GHR Connection encourages cooperation to build an inclusive community that honors diverse viewpoints and experiences. 

The following activities are strictly prohibited: 

1. Prohibition of Solicitation and Business Activities 
   Members are strictly prohibited from engaging in solicitation or business activities for personal gain within the GHR Connection community. Violators may have their membership revoked. 

1. Unauthorized Collection and Use of Personal Information 
   Collecting or using other members' personal information without their consent is prohibited. 

1. Prohibition of Unauthorized Access and Misuse of Systems 
   Unauthorized access to or misuse of GHR Connection’s systems or online platforms is strictly forbidden. 

1. Prohibition of Offensive Language or Defamation 
   Defamation, offensive language, harassment, or intimidating behavior towards other members is prohibited. 

1. Prohibition of Providing False Information 
   Providing false information, such as fake qualifications or work history, is prohibited. Accurate information is required. 

1. Prohibition of Sharing Inappropriate Content 
   Members are not allowed to share insulting, discriminatory, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate content within the community. 

1. Prohibition of Political or Religious Solicitation 
   Solicitation or promotion of political or religious beliefs is not allowed within the GHR Connection community. 

1. Prohibition of Disruptive Behavior 
   Members are not allowed to intentionally disrupt other members' activities, spam communication, or interfere with the smooth running of events. 

1. Prohibition of Actions Deemed Inappropriate by the Administration 
   Any behavior or actions the administration deems inappropriate, even if not explicitly covered in the above rules, will be prohibited. The administration reserves the right to take appropriate action after notifying the member. 

 

Article 11 (Actions Against Violators) 
If a member of GHR Connection violates Article 10 (Equality and Respect for Differences of Opinion), the management office may take appropriate measures against the violator. These measures may include issuing a warning, suspending the member’s activities for a certain period, or, in severe cases, revoking the membership. Actions against violators will be communicated to the member in advance and will be determined after a proper investigation and deliberation. If the membership is revoked, no refund of the annual membership fee will be provided.
