Motivation and background for taking the course

  1. Why did you decide to take the International HR Education Program and obtain an international HR qualification?

    • Please tell us your motivation and background for taking the course and obtaining the qualification.

    • What career challenge did you want to solve?

Human resources work is a field that requires a wide range of knowledge, and I believe that it is necessary not only to organize knowledge systematically, but also to acquire international labor standards, management skills for multicultural coexistence, and the latest information from each country as global trends, especially in global companies. It goes without saying that it is important to link this knowledge to strategy, and I took this course because I felt that strengthening that knowledge and applying it in practice would allow me to contribute to the organization as a strategic partner to management.

  1. What experience and skills did you have prior to your qualification?

    • How long have you been involved in human resources work? Were there any situations that required an international perspective?

    • If you are a SHRM credential holder, please also compare it with the SHRM program.

I have about 10 years of experience specializing in human resource development, and while I have acquired various HR-related qualifications, I have had the opportunity to work in a foreign company, where I was required to improve talent management and development from a global perspective. Before taking this program, I held the SHRM credential and was using the knowledge in my work.

Class experience

  1. What ?

New knowledge and practical tips.

Throughout each module, I was able to understand with consistency that HR contributes to the development of an organization more than ever before as a strategic partner of management. I also gained a deeper understanding that strategic capital requires cooperation between financial capital and human capital, and that HR will be required to balance human-centric strategies and data-driven approaches in the future. In human resource development, which is my specialty, I was able to get a great idea of how to measure the effectiveness of L&D programs, get hints on linking them with performance management, and get an idea of how to link them to medium- to long-term management strategies.

  1. Did you gain a deeper understanding of global HR perspectives and HR systems in other countries?

-How do you think a global perspective will be useful in terms of human resources strategies and responses in the future?

I gained a deeper understanding of legal regulations and labor practices, and also of the importance of balancing and optimizing consistency and flexibility in human resource management that takes cultural diversity into consideration. I believe this experience will be useful in considering human resource policies and human resource development plans at a global level.
